>>dir. bill morrison, music composed by michael gordon, us, 2002;. a large-scale symphony created michael gordon, composer , who had been conducted with such an artists of modern music as the london sinfonietta and ensemble modern. produced with staging by new york 's ridge theater,the orchestra sits on a triangular pyramid structure that surrounds the audience.bill morrison's film of black and white 'found' footage in various states of deterioration is projected onto scrim draping the structure. the ensuing film, cut to michael gordon's complete score, was shown at the 2002 sundance film festival, as well as was a part of the official selectionin karlove vary and rotterdam festivals the same year.
